Photographing Independence Day Fireworks at George Washington's Mount Vernon

Learn photography skills with this hands-on, experiential journey!

Now - Jun 25, 2021. From: 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM

After a full year of no fireworks to photograph at Mount Vernon, WPS is pleased to announce a safari at George Washington's estate on the evening of June 25 to photograph the Independence Day fireworks display! Before the fireworks are launched at dusk, you will be able to do some street photography of the colonial interpreters that bring Mount Vernon to life! There is dancing near the Greenhouse, a beautiful blooming garden, and a Blacksmith working in his shop, plus many other outbuildings and livestock. President Washington and Mrs. Washington usually make an appearance as well. You will also learn the best settings for photographing fireworks, which you can put to good use a week later with more Independence Day fireworks!  Space is limited - sign up now!

Washington Photo Safari is a service of E. David Luria Photography.
