Kinship is acclaimed Chef Eric Ziebold and partner Célia Laurent’s new restaurant. The restaurant is located on the first floor of 1015 Seventh Street NW in an historic brick building dating back to 1907. A second restaurant, Métier, is located in the bi-level space offering a seven course tasting menu with partial views of the kitchen. Both restaurants commit themselves to offer creative and contemporary American cuisine with a continued dedication to hospitality.
Kinship is Chef Ziebold’s vision of what the modern American restaurant can be and offers an à la carte menu celebrating the rich diversity of influences that have come to shape American cuisine.
The restaurant has been designed by Darryl Carter, a Washington D.C. native and a leader in the design world, recognized for his restrained, distinguished, and livable environments. Antique materials and furniture pieces are mingling with modern details to create an elegant yet warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The restaurant has already garnered praise from guests and media alike. The Washingtonian Magazine has named Kinship the “most exciting restaurant to open this year” and The Washington Post has rated Kinship “Three Stars – Excellent”.
Kinship is opened for dinner nightly from 5:30PM. Valet service is offered for dinner nightly.
