Make a Difference
When it comes time to take all the lessons learned in the classroom and apply it to the board room, AEF connects Academy students with industry host employers for paid internship opportunities. Internships help students here in Washington, DC build the skills, networks, and capital to navigate the working world - and have the tools and confidence to change it for the better. Our investment of time, expertise, and resources into young people in our city and our communities is an investment into our collective future.
These internship programs are free for the host employer and are funded through programs at the DC Department of Employment Services. Want to learn more? Explore this page or contact Lisa Waldschmitt.
