New Queer History Bicycle Tour of Washington DC
Washington DC is gearing up to host World Pride 2025. In preparation and celebration, we are excited to share our Pride Ride. As the nation’s capital, Washington DC is not only the seat of power, it is the center stage for protests, calls to action, marches, defeats, and triumphs. Sometimes it is a few individuals standing up for their basic human rights. At other times it is thousands of citizens marching and demanding change. On this cycling tour, we’ll highlight some of the remarkable queer history in DC. We’ll learn about several of the people, places, events, and moments in this movement for the civil and human rights of queer people while enjoying the iconic sites of DC.
