Eerie DIY Terrarium

DIY crafting activity for adults and kids

Oct 18, 2024. 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM

Join Because Science for a fun and spooky crafting experience by making your very own eerie terrarium!

What to Expect:

We’ll provide all the materials and guide you in creating a mini world filled with rocks, dirt, moss, and spooky Halloween accents. Choose from a variety of cool containers like dodecahedrons and beakers to let your creativity shine. While we won’t provide plants, we recommend adding air plants or succulents for a living touch (our friends at Ace have great options if you need them!). We'll also have fun miniatures, like skeletons and pumpkins, to add to your scene!

Why This Activity is Perfect for Everyone:

  • Creative Exploration: Design your unique terrarium with a spooky flair.

  • Hands-On Fun: Perfect for kids and adults who love crafting together.

  • Family-Friendly: Ideal for children aged 5 and up, but younger kids can participate with adult assistance.

Details:

  • Cost: $15

  • Payment: You can pay at the register or in the CL using exact cash or Venmo.

  • Registration: While not necessary, signing up makes it easy to add the event to your calendar and ensures we have enough materials for everyone who wants to make one.

Drop in anytime during activity hours! Come join the spooky fun! The activity can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 depending on how details and meticulous you are. We also recommend inviting friends, bringing some brews, and having fun with it!
