Downtown DC’s Lunchtime Concert Series Returns for 23rd Season
Get ready to experience the vibrant sounds of Washington, D.C., as the LIVE! Concert Series on the Plaza returns to the Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center for its 23rd season. From July 15 to September 27, this series brings the district’s local talents to the heart of downtown for free, open-air concerts every weekday from noon to 1:00 pm.
This year’s lineup promises to showcase the rich diversity of DC’s native music scene, featuring acts like DuPont Brass, Sol Y Rumba, David Bach Consort, Pebble to Pearl featuring Dari J, and the Wil Gravatt Band, to name a few. Go-Go music, a cornerstone of DC's cultural heritage, is well-represented with eight bands, including The Chuck Brown Band, DC Vybe, What? Band, SIRIUS Company, Heat Stroke, Junkyard Band, and E.U. Featuring Sugar Bear, as the season’s finale.
In addition to the musical performances, guests are encouraged to join in the fun at "Play on the Plaza," featuring games like corn hole, giant Connect 4, and mega chess. Wilson Plaza provides plenty of outdoor seating and RRB/ITC’s food court offers a variety of dining options to choose from. Furthermore, the Plaza hosts a weekly fresh food market known as Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) every Wednesday, where visitors can indulge in local delicacies and artisanal delights. Grab a bite to eat and settle in around the LIVE! stage to fully enjoy the experience.
