Makers’ Market: Join us for a special market from 10 am to 4 pm, featuring goods from women and gender-expansive vendors, makers, and artists. Shop handmade jewelry, art, ceramics, and vintage finds in the museum’s Great Hall.
About Community Day: Visit us on the first Sunday and second Wednesday of each month for free museum admission. Take this opportunity to explore our collection and current exhibitions.
Open Studio: Join National Museum of Women in the Arts educators in the museum’s studio from 10 am to 4 pm for free, self-directed drop-in art-making activities inspired by artworks on view. Activities and inspirations change each month. Visitors of all ages are invited to participate. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Collection Highlights Tour: Explore the museum’s collection during these engaging, 45-minute drop-in tours at 11 am and 2 pm. These guided experiences feature six to eight works on view, highlighting the creative contributions of artists from the 16th century to today. Meet at the Information Desk.
Library and Research Center: Browse the reading room, which holds an extensive collection of books. Whether you’re an avid researcher, a student, or simply curious, our welcoming space offers a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. Stop by and explore the stories, works, and legacies of women and nonbinary artists from around the globe!
