Spring Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a delightful afternoon tea at the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, offered on March 21 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $70 per person. The menu features a selection of exquisite teas, including Rose Kissed Jasmine, Organic Hibiscus Flowers, and Earl Grey Rooibos, along with a Children’s Tea Party option featuring Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose Green Tea and Spring Pouchong Oolong Tea. Guests can enjoy a variety of delectable tea sandwiches such as Whipped Brie with Bartlett Pear and Peppered Ham, Prosciutto with Tomato Mousse, Asparagus and Egg Salad, Fried Green Tomato with Hollandaise, and Gorgonzola with Honey Walnut. Complementing the savory items, there are freshly baked scones in plain, cinnamon raisin, and cherry flavors, as well as an assortment of sweets including Salted Caramel Mini Chocolate Tarts, Lemon Bars, and Cherry Mousse Cups.
