She resisted and persisted. Historians are discovering stories of women of African descent at Tudor Place who were willing to speak out for what’s right; even when it was difficult to be heard. Early learners aged 18 months to four years old and their caregivers will learn about women who were enslaved and worked at Tudor Place through a group story time, songs, museum artifacts and a hands-on art project.
