Mi Vida Penn Quarter

Mi Vida is the evolution of Chef's culinary journey as he continues to explore his beloved Mexico.

KNEAD Hospitality + Design founders, Jason Berry and Michael Reginbogin, in partnership with celebrated chef Roberto Santiban~ez (Chef/owner of NYC's acclaimed Fonda restaurants), opened Mi Vida in Washington DC's District Wharf. Santiban~ez, a native of Mexico City and one of the most respected authorities on Mexican cuisine in the US, features a menu inspired by street food and traditional Mexican home cooking, in a modern, elevated presentation. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes such as Carne Asada and Tacos de Carnitas, Foie Gras with Churros, and Caviar Gorditas. Hand-crushed guacamole is offered in unique iterations including a version with blue cheese, grapes and almonds. Mi Vida offers a wide selection of Tequilas and Mezcals, in addition to specialty cocktails and margaritas.

The stunning 11,000 square foot waterfront restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of the Potomac River. Mi Vida's design incorporates The Wharf's industrial aesthetic infused with contemporary and historic Mexican de´cor. The restaurant seats approximately 350 guests and offers multiple private dining rooms as well as waterfront patio seating, equipped with fire pits and a sun-shading, climate-controlled pergola.
