World Gas Conference – June 2018
- 2018 was the first time since 1988 that the United States has held the Presidency of the International Gas Union (IGU). Given the leading role that natural gas is playing in the U.S. to meet energy needs, the U.S. is perfectly positioned to work with IGU members to promote the role of gas on the international stage. During the U.S. triennium, IGU leaders focused on educating policy makers on the importance of gas in an increasingly carbon constrained environment.
